This is because very few people spend much time imagining their future selves!! Instead, we assume that who we are now is the person we will always be in the future.
When you step outside of your comfort zone, uncertainty will be introduced into your life. You're going to make mistakes. You'll have setbacks along the way. Anxiety and frustration are likely to accompany your experience.
While intentionally stepping outside of your comfort zone to create the life you want, you will learn and grow as a person. This intentional growth and development will give you many deep learning and peak experiences.
According to psychology, psychological flexibility refers to the ability to maintain one's current identity and emotions while pursuing meaningful goals in an uncomplicated and uncomplicated manner.
A positive and deeply relaxing experience of meeting your own future self is intended for you during this meditation. As you seek and discover answers to your most important life questions, allow your subconscious or higher self to guide you along the way.
Here are the steps to imagining and becoming your desired FUTURE SELF:
Imagine who you want to be
Journal about who you want to be
Decide who you want to be in 3 years from now
Start telling people about your future self
Create a morning routine where you get up, get yourself into the right environment without distractions, and activate your future-self mindset
Invest money into your future self—whether that be courses, skills, mentors, or experiences.
Change your environment to match your future self—including the information, food, people, and experiences as you create a future that you know yours.
The bolder your action toward your future self, the more emotionally flexible and evolved you will become. The more emotionally grown you become, the less constrained you'll be by your past or circumstances.
This meditation experience may be repeated as often as you wish to reinforce your positive intentions and access the more profound wisdom of your higher self.
