The Meditation Life Skills Podcast

Using headphones will give you a more personal and intense experience while not disturbing those around you. Find a quiet, comfortable spot where you won't be interrupted while you're doing this.

When you first start listening to the session, your mind will most likely wander to mundane aspects of your life; let whatever pictures enter your mind and go with the flow. Maintain your concentration on the water and the Alpha harmonic tones in your head; this is typical and a learned skill in any sort of meditation.

Your brain should begin to entrain toward the provided Alpha frequencies after around six minutes of uninterrupted listening. It's a good idea to keep a diary so you may put down your thoughts after each session for later consideration.

Deep Meditation Alpha Training

In the waking state, alpha waves reflect the brain's idle function. Most people emit a certain amount of Alpha waves when they rest with their eyes closed. Alpha is the state of pure consciousness or being, devoid of any actions. It symbolizes a portal between the outside and inner worlds — the conscious and the unconscious.

Stress is frequently the issue when a person is unable to meditate correctly. You must regulate your focus and direct it onto your inner body, disregarding all other stimuli, in order to develop Alpha waves. If any thoughts arise in that state, don't follow them; instead, observe them quietly as if they were floating clouds in the sky.

Alpha waves are associated with a peaceful, open, and balanced mind, as well as a free flow of energy and a strong connection to the body and its feelings. Stress is relieved and deep meditation is facilitated with alpha wave training.

You boost the free flow of energy when you practice with Alpha waves. The brain's blood supply is improved, and the immune system is enhanced. Going into Alpha creates a conscious space for stress to dissolve.

A person with a high Alpha level has a highly efficient brain that moves seamlessly from one task to the next. This person is aware of and present in the present moment; his or her energy flows effortlessly, and no stress builds up.

The purpose of Alpha training is to improve one's ability to complete the majority of daily responsibilities.
